The only way it will paste, is i fI highlight the area and say to use the area highlighted to paste the content. Doesn't always do it but it does. Just weird.
EDIT: I know how to recreate the bug. If you copy the event, it can't paste when doing the CTRL V portion of it. You have to use Right click, Paste only. Nothing from the keyboard input. Edited by BigDPS - 25 Sep 2014 at 6:13pm |

I'll look into this. I'm pretty certain that I've copy/pasted numerous RGB sections (I use RGB heavily), but there might be something lurking in there affecting your setup (we did a rather significant overhaul of the copy/paste code in the 11th hour last year, so a bug in the RGB case wouldn't surprise me). I do know there is a bug in beta 1 with W2E that can mess up nearby copy/paste operations. Michael |

I believe the 307 update took care of this.
This one was a Jonathan-ism... you might recall that I could never replicate it and you were the only tester to report it. I'm sure we'll eventually figure out what network configuration, antivirus, or whatever is causing it over in the beta forum, but this one is a bit of a nuisance I can't guarantee to find right away. Interestingly, while the dongles worked perfect for you last year and not E1.31, on my display it was the exact opposite. E1.31 was flawless, but the FTDI dongles had driver stability issues. BUG: Trying to copy and paste an RGB event to another place, it just won't copy anything.

If part of your question was for me, I can't recall. I haven't had the time to sequence these past days but I'm sure it will show up somewhere....

Was the random channels turning on when a song was created from scratch in this beta (as opposed to being transmogrified from a v1.X version) ever dealt with? If I can avoid having to use v1.X for sequencing that would be the best case scenario.
Also, my E1.31 servers kept crashing last year, forcing me into using two dongles and eliminating my third universe. If we could get those two items solved that would be my priority. |

Right off the bat, I can't recall the exact bug but it has something to do with the cut and paste. It will cause the program to crash.
I am just restarting to polish up a few sequences and when I do recreate the problem, I will let you know for sure. By the way, big thanks for keeping Aurora alive even though people have not embraced it like it should have been. When I jumped ship from the dlight program to come here, this was going to be my last jump. I think Aurora is just as good as any other programs out there. I hate having to relearn how to walk. I just remembered a bug in the Borealis. When you rename or move sequences around, it will sometimes rename or duplicate some sequences. Again, it is vague in my mind but I will get back to you, trust me. |

The 2014 season is almost here! Although most will not use Beta 1 in their displays this year, for those who will: Which bugs in the beta would you like to see knocked off the to-do list (fixed) first?
I probably will not have everything fixed so as to have beta 2 ready in time, but I certainly can prioritize on your suggestions. Michael |
