Lets than a $100 + the cost of the star; that is a pretty good value. I like it a lot. This may be a relatively easy way to get introduced into using the RGB modules.

RGB modules are around $1.40 -1.50 range each with shipping. 15 modules inside the star. Tiger DMX TP3244 controller is around $60, but that is just a fraction of its control ability. (170 modules with using just a single universe dongle). There are ways to increase that by 4X. $10 for a power supply. Than depending on what you pay for the blow mold.
