Problem solved!
I changed national settings in Win XP, from Sweden/Swedish to USA/English. No more "code 13" opening sequences. I recalled strange problems that I used to have with Spectrum and even Animated Lighting software that noone else seemed to have, and that the problems had been related to national settings before. I guess all those softwares have been developed using the same tools, maybe Visual Basic or similar. And it seems us non-americans running christmas lighting softwares are a very small minority... Still strange though that we should need to change language settings to run the software. Now I just need to find a way to import .asq Spectrum files into Aurora... Regards, Jonatan Lindell |

Just starting with Aurora 1.0.25, trying to migrate from Spectrum.
I'm using an AMD Athlon 64, 1 GB RAM, running Win XP (Swedish). I have created some very basic sequences and got them to run in the sequencer with lights active. Then I'm saving them, but when I try to load them again I always get "Error: The file could not be opened. (code 13) Aurora will reset." and then it closes. So I'm not able to get back to anything that I have saved. "Use backup workspace" gives the same error. Have tried with MP3 files, and converting them to WAV.
