You're absolutely correct.. I think Aurora is a supurb product and wouldn't mind showing it off. Do I need it - not really -BUT- would I use it - yes..

As I said... certainly not for 1.0 (there are other priorities for 1.0), but...
probably before 2.0 (maybe 1.1 or 1.2) because visualization videos = more customers showing off = more free advertising for Aurora (just being honest).

For me that would be fall into 'bells & whistles' Might be handy once in a great while but I think I'd sooner see any enhancements or features added to functionality and control.. Maybe option for visulization in the Borealis portion would be nice.
Exporting visulization to avi or some other video format maybe something for 2.0 - Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

Is export to AVI a feature y'all would like to see included in a future release of Aurora? I don't see such a feature happening for 1.0, but it can be taken into consideration for 1.1 or 1.2 if there is enough demand for it. All of the essentials are already a part of Aurora... they just need to be brought together to make it happen. |

Yeah, I think it wouldn't play w/ my soundcard either. Instead, you could always use a loopback cable - just get a cable that has a 1/8" miniplug on each end. Put one end in the headphone jack, the other in the mic. Then set it to record from mic and you should be good to go.

I did that and it did not work, it said something about not having the right soundcard.
I'll keep working with it.
