Do you know what picture file is specified in the sequence? If you delete or rename that file then Aurora will prompt you for a new one when you try to open it. Give that a try.
If (and only if) that does not work, then try this procedure: 1) Download the file: http://www.aurorashow.com/downloads/RemovePicture.zip 2) Unzip it into your Aurora Sequencer folder 3) Run RemovePicture.exe 4) Specify the file name/path to your sequence file in the text box (sorry, no file browser here-- this is a quickly thrown together hack) 5) Click "Do It!" 6) After it finishes you should have a sequence file with "_NOPICTURE.dls" added to the name in your sequences folder. That new file should open properly. There are no guarantees on the above procedure since the only testing it received is about 1 minute worth on my development PC. Michael |

That sounds like a corrupt or incorrect format picture file that Aurora can not recognize. Try deleting or renaming the bad picture file to force Aurora to use the default picture instead.

First, make sure the picture you were using wasn't corrupted in the crash. Open it in an editor (like Paint) and then re-save it as "default.jpg" in a 1024 x 768 size. Then place it directly into the Aurora folder. You'll actually want to make sure the original image in question isn't stored where you told the system it would be. When you open up Aurora, your sequence will go searching for the image, and not finding it, will revert to the default picture, which you have now replaced with the actual image you need. From then on, you won't need to select where the image is stored and then you can just use the default setting.

Were you using another image for the sequence in question?

My pc crashed and im just about back to normal except for one sequence. When i try to open it i get this message....
An error has occurred while loading the picture for this sequence debugging info follows: Reload picture error=481 Invalid picture loc=3 loading picture...
Any ideas? i have ran it through the schedular and it runs but i added some new lights and need to update the sequence.
Thanks, Les
