From what I gather, it looks like Borealis is the program that is crashing. It's rather difficult to troubleshoot generic crashes, but there are a few generic solutions you can try.
When Borealis crashes and re-installs do not help, you'll need to take the extra step of removing the Aurora directory altogether during the uninstall process. Obviously, back up the files you wish to keep and also make sure you have your unlock code handy. (Don't use the freeware code as it locks you out of any future updates.)
Other things to try: Make sure only one copy of Borealis is running in the task manager. Your restarts took care of that already.
Next, you can try moving the Borealis.dat and/or audiocache.dat files. (Don't delete the files, just move them elsewhere so that you have a copy in case you need to restore them.) Borealis has been known to start working when those files are moved, (I did it last night myself) but it will cause you to lose your existing show (just make a new one) and it will re-encode all the audio and video files. This is not a task to be done just before show time, especially via a slower computer.
If everything worked fine but then started crashing after a newly created sequence was added to the mix, remove the sequence (or move Borealis.dat) and set up the show again without it.
Now, what happens when you open up Sequencer? Does it open successfully or crash as well?

Thanks for all your suggestions! I tried your suggestions but Aurora 1.0.90 continued to crash so I took a chance and rolled it back to 1.068 and created a new show the last two nights and my show has run without any problem!! This is what I figure 1. When I downloaded the upgrade to 1.0.90 the file was damaged in the process 2. I have a damaged song file. I am currently running smaller shows looking for song that will crash the computer) 5 songs a night and 10 gone through with no crashes Thursday and Friday (last 5 tonight Sat.). 3. For what ever reason my computer will not run Aurora 1.0.90 Anyways I hope I can get through the rest of the season and I will be happy then after the first I can decide what to do |
