| The sequence is very good. Aren't those cars and wind anoying. I had the same problem videoing my lights. I love the snowman, I am asuming it's a wireframe structure. Good Luck. | |

I could watch that snowman go all night long.  I have got to incorporate something like that into my display for next year.  I have a perfect spot on the chimney that would work great except for the fact that Mr. Snowman (or Santa) would look a tad suicidal standing on the edge of the roof.  Cars? Oh yeah, they had a knack of knowing when I'd be filming and they wouldn't turn the headlights off until the after the video had been ruined, if at all. Sometimes they wouldn't show up until the last four seconds of the song. But I did make the show for them too, so I didn't mind. It just meant having to re-video it again. And again, And again. I sure did get to meet a lot of interesting people that way.

2 nights in a row...no one shows up for a hour, I go out, set up the camera, and 5 people show up within 2 minutes.   Next year I'm just going to buy a cheap garage sale 1970 video camera for a dollar and set it up outside and then maybe I'll have 50 people a night.  I will say the snowman is pretty cool!!! He's not truely wireframe in the sense of made from metal. He's contstructed of PVC pipe, PVC water tubing, couple of coat hangers, and some old rope lights - all either leftovers from other home projects or something someone else trashed..  Comes apart in 2 pieces for storage. Not a great pic but gives you just a bit of the idea: Edited by bdkeen - 06 Jan 2009 at 10:47am
