Ok, so the firmware on the controller is 1.14, which does support ramping shimmers. Now, what controller firmware is selected for your channels in Aurora? Right click in the channel area and choose open the BCE. The device type you selected when you first set up the controller will be displayed. Make sure it is set to D-Light ACx16 1.13+, not pre 1.13. It is set to 1.13+, yes?

bad news it was not a one time event.. it happened again today..
it was in a sequence with regular ramps and shimmer ramps.. all in the same column .. saved my work.. closed the program.. opened it back up and some of the regular ramps changed to shimmer and the shimmer changed to regular ones.. not on all of them.. but quite a few |
