Is there any way to use Aurora with lasers? Has anyone tried/had luck using different lasers? If so....I would like to know. Thanks!

In order for lasers to work with Aurora, they would need to be powered by either AC or DC current, and be able to turn on simply by having power applied to their channel (unlike, say a computer which needs a button pressed after power is applied to turn it on). Then, just like a light strand, you would use your controller (e.g. Acx16 or DCx16) for the channel needed, and you would then program your effects as usual.

But in the near future (I don't think this year) there will be DMX support. Most lasers that I have dealt with use this for control. When that is released you'll have all the control you need.

Aurora can do DMX today with the use of a protocol bridge like the LOR iDMX. One of these devices will map the 512 DMX channels into 16 D-Light/LOR device IDs.
"Native" DMX support will not come to Aurora until 2009.

So your answer is:
Yes, If there is an ON/OFF switch and it plugs into a normal wall outlet. You can plug the lazer into an ACx16 and have it turn on and off.
No, otherwise.

What... Just because I started with 32 chennels back in Feb, and now have 96+Firefly before our first display.... This stuff isn't addicting at all!
