    Posted: 19 Dec 2011 at 10:48am
I was wondering if someone could assist me. I have setup a music playlist and assigned it to play after the show. The only problem I am having is that it will only play the first song in the list, over and over.

Thanks

Try creating the playlist using another method.  This year, I only had one song in my playlist, so I had Borealis create one from the folder the files was in.  In years past, I used Windows Media Player to create a playlist.

How did you use media player to create a playlist?  Did you have media player run at a certain time?  If so, how do you program media player to turn on and off automatically?

Thanks

bbeismann,

The normal procedure for creating a Borealis after-show playlist is to go into Settings/Playback and then use "Create playlist from folders" to generate the playlist.  I assume this is not working for you?

You can also create a playlist file with Windows Media Player, but the procedure will vary depending on which version of WMP you have.  In some versions you can click on the "Now Playing List" dropdown and select playlist editor to create a playlist and then use the "Save Playlist As" in the same dropdown to save the playlist file.  You can then put the path name of that file into the text field in Borealis.
