Something else that would be cool would be to be able to copy and paste from one show to another. The copy tool now doesnt seem to bounce off of the windows clipboard. If it did we would be able to copy from one show to another.

Copy/Paste is due for changes in 2009. Right now there isn't much of a point for copying/pasting between Aurora instances since Aurora doesn't officially support multiple instances of the program being open at this time. You might get it to work, but then again you might find a strange issue or two (hint: don't try to play back in both at once).

I havent had any issues running two or three instances but I havent run 2 play backs at the same time. It is just rough manually copying sequences from one show to another manually. I look forward to the update.

and it would sure be great to speed up the paste process. On large pastes, it has sometimes taken over a minute (and this is on a quad core). I also noticed that the paste process is pretty much restricted to Core #4.
1, 2 and 3 stay relatively inactive but #4 is up over 60 and 70% JonB Edited by JonB256 - 13 Feb 2009 at 8:13pm |

You try copy/cut and paste with 400+ defined channels and you might as well go have supper during the paste. I also look forward to this "feature" getting fixed.
