is there a way to enlarge the spectrogram window area on my lcd its only about 1 inch tall  tried changing the resolution on the lcd but that degrades the image quality

Unfortunately the size of the spectrogram is fixed.

The audio view is fixed.  There are plans to make it somewhat resizable (1x, 2x, 3x) in a future release, but it is low on the current priority list.
