I'm having the same issue. I was programming a sequence last night when I got an error. I tried to restart Aurora and it would not restart...errors out.
I've tried system restore, re-install, nothing! It keeps coming back to that error. I'm running XP on this laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

This specific message is usually related to DirectX graphics and is related to Windows itself. Aurora does not directly use DirectX hardware graphics acceleration, but Windows may be accelerating some GDI elements, mouse cursors, etc. Some questions:
1) How current are your Windows updates? 2) Have you rebooted? 3) Have you recently installed anything that may have altered your DirectX settings or version? Also, you can try playing with the Windows hw acceleration settings under the control panel Display Settings/Advanced/Troubleshooting/Acceleration to determine if this is DX related or not. Michael |
