So I think it might be nice to have a pre-view of everyone's final shows for the year. I know we're getting close... Once I've finalised everything, I'm happy to share, but after I get everything cleaned up. (Gota take out out all of those .15s ramps...)

What kind of video camera to do people use to record? I have a video camera that is about 12 years old. I did record, but it doesn't look very good. Does one of the newer digital camera's work fine (a sister has one of those), or is it better to just find someone who has a HD video camera. Also, what do you use to edit the video? I would much prefer to add the audio (music) in after the fact so it sounds better. Thanks for any advice anyone can give. |

The best video I get tends to be from my Canon Powershot A630. The worst video I tend to get is from my brother's actual video camera! While a pain in the butt because it loves to freeze up, Windows Movie Maker will allow you to add in the audio after the fact.

Hmmm... Okay, I think we have a powershot. I'll have to check and see what kind it is and gave it a try. Thank you.

I have a Sony DCR-SR200, definitely not a higher end unit but adaquate for the little I use it.. Have to play more with the buttons. Would like to get better color separation in the dark, But it really didn't do too bad for what it is. I set everything I can to manual as opposed to auto sensing and pretty sure it can do a little better if I take the time to play more with the settings.
Only problem with this camera is can't jack the audio into it without the special Sony hot-shoe adapter which Sony discontinued. So while I'm also trying to adjust the camera I need to hold the radio close for the sound. Gets a wee bit difficult with only 2 arms and hands.
