May be just whizzing in the wind, but lets not forget the coming Plug-In options for 3rd party developers. Its possible that a plug-in app could be written to do just this.

Not whizzing, execellent point. I actually totally forgot about that. You could feasibly(sp) just build out a API that could be trigger during a show by the scheduler. that trigger then could execute a set "sequence". should be easy to write. we'll have to see what type resrictions will be applied to the developers.

Depending on the voltages you're using, you could use a PIR detector from a yard light (motion detector).
