This is my first year using Aurora. I tested everything, created a schedule and tried to run it. The music played but the lights would not turn on. I tried several times and uninstalled the earlier version of the program and installed the latest program Now  (1) I can not open the scheduler. When I try to open the Scheduler the popp up says aurora has encountered an unexpected error and will now reset...debugging information 3021 Either BOF or EOF is true or current record is deleted. Request operation requires a record.(2) In the sequencer when I turn the bulb on the lights are not turning on. (3) Also once these are fixed I still don't know why the lights will not turn on....please help.....I have spent countless hours and I feel like I am sinking....I would really appreciate your insight....

Sincerely
Bill

What version. Should be 1.0.90

Make certain your Serial port settings are configured properly. If it isn't, the controllers will do nothing.

Delete the Borealis.dat file in the Shows folder. And repopulate the show list with known good sequences and file paths. This can be determined by loading each sequence with Aurora and then saving.

With version 1.0.90, you actually have two options for outputting to the COM ports. Both use the FTDI drivers.  VCP, which has been around since day one, and the newer D2XX mode, which supports DMX.  By default, Borealis uses D2XX, but if your system doesn't want to run it, then switch to VCP.

You can get the COM port off of the HW Utility.  For VCP, use a speed 115200 for ACx16 / DCx16's, or 56700 if you are running any Firefli's.
