How can one select an entire row (channel) to copy it to another channel?  Is there a "duplicate channel" function?  Ctrl-A brings up the "save as" windows.

I usually zoom out until I can see the entire sequence - then select all the cells.  I would assume this would be a feature made available upon the version 1 release, or shortly after.

Eventually this will make it into the right click menu, but for now there is an easy way to do this without zooming out...

With the mouse above the editor, hit "Home" to align the editor to the first page of the sequence.  With the selection tool hold down the left mouse button on the first cell of the channel you wish to copy.  While still holding down the mouse button hit the "End" key to jump to the last page of the sequence and then drag the mouse to the last event and let go of the mouse button.  You may now Ctrl-C and the whole channel is copied.

This also works with the arrow keys if you need to copy to the left/right of the visible screen.  Likewise the arrows and home/end work in combination with other tools if you need to create an event longer than the visible screen but do not want to zoom out due to screen clutter.

Not "exactly" what i'm used to, but it will work.  I tried to left click (not holding the left button) on the top left corner of the section and then scrolling (with the cursor keys) to the end and holding down the shift (and also tried ctrl) key.  Thanks for the information, it will make cutting and copying much faster now!     Smile

As I mentioned earlier, sometime between now and 1.0 a "Copy entire channel" option will appear on the context menu you get when right clicking a channel name.  The method described above is the strange "other way" that I knew would work until the right click option is available.
