Just about ready fire up the show this Friday, then this happens.

Noticed a few strings were on when I got home early this morning. Turns out a few ladybugs decided to take up residence - judging from the tiny charcoal briquettes all over the board. Fuse protected itself by burning up the board, and the GFCI did its job by not tripping out until I moved the enclosure.

Luckily, Darryl is shipping out some boards Friday, so the show won't be delayed too badly.

Yikes - glad it was only a board.

Yikes!  I'm glad that hasn't happened here (yet).

I finally got the controllers hooked up today and ran some tests.  It looks like my nemesis this year is a bad data cable somewhere to chase down... occasionally some controllers are "winking out" and others are randomly shifting everything by one or two DMX channels (which looks really crazy on the Firefli strings).
