I have 2 and a half minutes extra at the end of one of my sequences.  The mp3 file I am using is only 3 mins 6 secs long but in the sequencer when I push end it goes to 5 min 33 secs.  I have tried highlighting and deleting this last portion to no avail.  Is there a way to set the end.
  Thanks

It sounds like the music file is reporting the wrong length to Aurora. You may want to use a 3rd party wav/mp3 editor to clean it up.

I had this happen to an MP3 I got from an online music store once.  Windows Media would play it correctly but if I opened it in Aurora or CoolEdit (now known as Adobe Audition) it would have the extra silence at the end.  It is caused by something nonstandard in the file.

I've had the same problem with MP3 files as well, I just make it standard practice to convert all of my audio to WAV and then I don't have to worry about it.

MP3's have caused me nothing but problems with my sequences. Now I convert everything to WAV and now I never have Music related problems.

Oh heck, I'll throw my hat into the ring as well....
MP3's files are so varied that I never trust the   things for anything other than just listening to them.  If anybody has need for a free sound program that does the job, http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ - Audacity comes highly recommended.

I'll second the for Audacity, I use it for all my MP3 to WAV conversions.  I also use it for all my voice over work.  You can use it to add a holiday message in your your song if you want. I've downloaded the new Beta version of it....and I'm still on the fence with that, but the current version is great and its...FREE
