Strange problem with Aurora and version1.68, whenever I try and exit out of Aurora when I first click exit nothing happens so I click exit again and I get a pop-up window that says "Runtime Error 340" and the next line says Control array element "12" doesn't exist

Any thoughts??

Tony

Is this a problem with a specific DLS file, or does any file create this situation?

Michael.
I have tried this with 4 or 5 different sequences and it happens with all of them. Just as an experiment I tried creating a new sequence from scratch with a new music file and no imported channels and I get the same result.

I get the same runtime error and control element message.  I get it on the first click to exit.  It doesn't appear to cause any problems.  I hit the cancel and Aurora exits just fine.  Again I haven't noticed any problems caused by this.

Tks!

I'll look into it.  Since this doesn't seem to affect usability, we'll probably get to this after we're past the really tight timeline for the September release.

Thanks Michael,
Hasn't stopped me for getting my 2009 sequencing completed. And all testing I've been doing with controllers, video, and such  has been running very smoothly.
Afer all 1.0.68 was an interim beta version of Aurora made available to the public
It was clearly stated that being a beta release, there is no guarantee that everything will work properly and I personally was willing to accept that risk. Can always drop back to 1.0.41 if it annoys too much.

Perhaps these will be mute in the September release.. I'd defintely sooner see the effort go into the new release.

Keep up the great work and a big thank you from me.

I agree as well, it's not killing my productivity or causing me any issues just kind of irritating sometimes.  Although I did find out that if you click the red close program X instead of going to file exit the program shuts down immediately.

Task Manager also does a real nice job of closing it as does the power button or the reset button Tongue

Lamp:  If anyone is thinking of reverting back to 1.0.41 "just in case", make sure you backup all your sequences before saving them in 1.0.68.  Not every version is backwards compatable.
