Was late getting started this year, but Christmas in Equality is ready to rock for its sixth year using Aurora! Only bugs encountered were programming errors (ID 10 T errors) on my part.

BTW, the 'starting address of 50 and above' trick DOES work. At least so far.Wink

Big thanks to Michael and all the Beta test crew!

You are obviously not running DMX, aren't you?

That is probably my fault... I'm still borrowing his DR4 for testing.

Running "the old fashioned way".  When Michael announced several months ago that DMX wasn't going to happen this year, I loaned him my DR4 so he could use it for development.

I thought so. The #50 address gave me the clue.
I would like to say that even though I have had oh so many problems, when the programs don't crash, Aurora and Borealis are doing what they are supposed to. That's one of the reason why I didn't jump ship.

Can't wait for version 2.

I want to jump on the Thank You bandwagon.  Aurora is running very smooth for me.  I'm running 1.0.90 without any problems.  No DMX. I do have a combination of D-Light & LOR controllers on a single network, 232 channels, 38K lights.

Version 2?, yes I'm excited for it too.

Thanks to Michael and all the posters on this forum that have been extremely helpful and very responsive to any and all questions that I've had.

thank you all and Merry Christmas!!!

Yes, we've been quietly working on version 2 for a while now.  It is still to early to promise a release date.

Can you tell us a few new things that might be added? Kind of a Christmas present to those who stayed with your product.... WinkEvil%20Smile

The ones I can talk about:

No more compile/decompile delays
Improved copy/paste
Application portability (runs from USB stick without installation)
New playback engine
UI improvements
E1.31 / DMX

The rest (specifics regarding the sequencing workflow) I can not mention at this time because it isn't complete and it is entirely possible that one or more features will be left out of the release.  I've learned my lesson about promising things too far in advance.

Michael
