Forgive me if I am asking questions that may have already been asked.

I imported my Dlight sequences and have started to fiddle with the software.  After messing with it a little I have some general questions that I didn't find answers on this forum.  I may have overlooked though so don't scorn me.

1-The background of the sequencing tool is black...is there a way to "invert the image" and make it a white background with black interval lines?  I must be getting old and the black background with white lines is killer on my eyes.

2- Depending on what tool is being used the mouse icon changes.  With each change from what I can tell so does the "point of engagement (poe)".  What I mean by this is with the arrow on a normal mouse icon the "tip" of the arrow is the "point of engagement".  With the different tool icons I can't tell where is the "point of engagement".  I have selected incorrect cells multiple times because I can't tell what part of the icon is the "poe".  Long story short is there a way to have just a generic mouse icon that doesn't change so I know what the "poe" is?  Did that make sense?

3- With my sequences that  I imported from Spectrum  I have some commands that do proper playback when the "lightbulb" tool is selected but other commands that are non responsive.  Is the file just corrupt?  I have erased the events that don't work properly and then have redrawn but alas still no worky.Cry  95% of all the other commands work but a few do not.  Any thoughts?  ...well now I realized I just lied.  I did change a long fade that did not output so that the first part of it was "on" followed by a 100 to 0 fade out.   The "on" portion worked but then just continued into the fade command that followed.  When the command of the fade hit 0 then the "on" output stopped.Cry

Hope this is not too much and that someone has an answer
Tofa,
Kalifi

1-  Upon further reading I see the admin response on why it is black background and not white.  I think it may have  been a "getting used to" thing...It does not seem as bad now.

2-I am still having a hard time knowing which cell I am selecting depending on which tool I am using. Any suggestions?

3-Question was answered and it looks like it is a known bug with fades that are longer than a certain time period.

So I am just looking for a solution to Question number two.

While you cannot change the appearance of the mouse cursor, you can expand the sequence (make the lines larger) by pressing the + or - keys and the PgDn/PgUp keys.

It's about in the middle :(
I've gotten used to it, but I still don't hit the mark every time. It would be nice if the Icons had a dot or a little arrow to the spot, but that's nothing major to me at all. When everyhting else is done and we're looking for nice tweaks, that's a good one.

Fine. You're so smart you rig up the lights.

I have "zoomed" in and out...I guess  I like to work with an expanded view and small "cells".  For now I will deal with it.

Agree it would be a nice tweak.
