Help, I have imported my spectrum files to aurora. I click on the "on" button on the left side then click where I want to add a on command, but nothing happens!!!!!!? I have checked to make sure a color is assigned to each channel and I have channels assigned. Why will Aurora not add my commands?

When you click for the ON command I'm assuming you are placing the command between TWO timing marks?

(I assume you know that you need to place timing marks where you want the command to go?)

Also, what's the error code you are seeing so we can narrow down the issue

If the program closes on you....the next time you open it, click on the USE BACKUP WORKSPACE on the bottom of the open screen.  It will open to the last autosave point....on the last file you had open...

Also, by "ON", you did select the "Intensity" option to place the action, correct?
Not the light bulb that sends the commands out to the controllers.

Step 1: Breath.
Now, What exactly does "Everythime I do something" mean?
What version do you have installed?
Does Aurora start at all?
Have you created the first sequence?
Can you load it?
Where exactly are you?
What are you doing?
Are you importing?
Are you just addding a timing mark?

No there isn't     you can see the major beat marks on the top of the waveform....little gray marks. That should help with the location

Aurora can add timing marks if you want them to all be the same duration.

It doesn't add timing marks based on the waveform.

Let's say you wanted 16 equal divisions between two points. First, manually create (use the "V" Event Marker) by left clicking to mark the begin and end points. Then change the cursor to the "Y" Selection. Right click anywhere between the begin and end, left click on "Split Cells"

Make your choice.

You can split a 10 second chunk or you can split the complete sequence (no manual begin or end point).

It will take a lot of computer time to do a whole sequence from end to end if you were to add 1/10 of a second markings (100msec).

Jon is right

I was more thinking on the line of.....automatically to beat or what not.

i think i figured out my error problems by the other post on the forum. the mp3 files don't seem to be working correctly. so i converted them to .wav and i am working fine now!

Another question.... is there a way to adding timing while listening to the audio? i have pressed every key on my keyboard and mouse and nothing will seem to do it????
