I'm trying to create a sequence with a modified WAV that I created using Audacity.  The original WAV file works just fine.  However, my modified version (basically I cut it short) creates an error with Aurora and the program closes.  Here is the error:

Aurora Encountered and unexpected error and will not reset:  (BTW, and should be "an")

Debugging Information:
6 : Overflow
Main Processing Loop
AuroraAudio3

Here is what I did with Audicity (version 1.2.6):

Loaded the WAV file.
Selected the audio I wanted to save
File -> Export Selection as WAV

Is there a better way to do this?

I figured out what needed to change in Audacity...

On the Menu -> Edit -> Preferences:

File Formats Tab
In the Uncompressed Export dropbox change to:
     WAV (Microsoft 16 bit PCM)

The default is WAV (Microsoft 32 bit).  This is what causes the error in Aurora.

32 bit floating point audio files are good for editing because you can make changes without introducing as much noise and distortion and use the floating point math extensions built into the processors to gain some speed. Professional Video editing programs will immediately "conform" the audio stream into 32 bit audio for better quality if you need to adjust the audio for volume or hiss reduction, etc...

But - it doesn't work for sequencing :( . It must be the 16 bit WAV format.
