I had some shut down issues that may have lead up to this new problem

I was using Aurora 1.0.32 and it was working GREAT all season!
Then my computer had some shutting down issues while running Aurora scheduler / firefox

Last night I wanted to make some changes to some of my sequences and I got the run time error 68. It was late so I decided to shut down and come back in the morning. Still I had the same problem. so I decided to unistall 1.0.32 and install the latest version of Aurora 1.0.41.  I still get the same run time error 68. Not sure what I did.

I can use the hardware utility to turn on the lights and I tested Aurora Scheduler and that works fine to.

What have I done Confused !!!

I have to walkaway for a little bit

did you by chance save them on a flash drive that is not now in the computer?   I get this error when the last place I saved to is not available to the computer...Example, flash drive I pulled out.

Yes I did back up my (Aurora sequence) files on a flash drive when I thought the computer power supply was giving out.
What would be my next step ??

Option #1:

Close Aurora, plug in flash drive, reopen Aurora

Option #2:

Delete config.dat.

did you plug the drive into the same USB port....I know my laptop doesn't matter, but my wifes computer it changes the drive letter depending on the port.

Basically (in the cases I have had and seen) the error is because its looking for a drive thats not there. (missing flash drive usually) I avoid this now by always saving to the aurora sequence folder and then just copy/pasting from the file folder.

Ok, the actual million dollar question is "whats a IRQ"????
You are dealing with someone who can frame a house, wire it, plumb it and do the Hvac.
but can not diagnose  a computer.
these last two years have been a huge learning curve..

If you installed to the default location, config.dat can be found with Windows Explorer at C:\Program Files\Aurora Sequencer\

After you delete it Aurora will work, but you will have to re-setup your serial network config and/or any other settings you changed (e.g. Visualizer resolution)
