Electrical degree? How about a PHD in physics? You can come down here and look at my LEDs that still glow when they aren't even plugged in AND have a string on minis between the LEDs and the controller!
Your problem should be fixed in the 1.15 firmware.
Fine. You're so smart you rig up the lights.

I fixed it. It was doing the same thing no matter what channel I plugged into. I added a string of mini lights to the channel and it now works. I did not know that I would need an electrical degree to put up Christmas lights. Have a Merry CHRISTmas.Smile

I've had many of these problems. There are 2 things you can do: one is to plug a power adapter to the end of your light string. It will create a load which will turn off the triac. If you're afraid of putting a power adapter outdoors, you can plug in a nightlight with a c7 7 watt lightbulb. That sometimes work but I have seen stubborn triacs requiring 2 nightlights. This usually occurs on damp or very humid days. On dry cold days, I have no problems. Hope this helps!!!

I agree... this sounds like a hardware related issue.  I think you will get a better response to your question over on the D-Light forums.

It's a harware issue.
It's probably the TRIAC.

I am a little frustrated. I have one ACx16 and this is my frist year. I am running only 2 songs right now. When I first hooked it up, it worked fine during the show. But at the end of the show it would turn channel one back on during the night. And it would turn it off the next afternoon. Now it has turned chanel one and it will not turn off. During the show, it trys to turn it off during the show, but all it does is flicker a little. After the show it stays on. Last night I unplugged the controller and turned the computer off. This moring when I plugged it in, channel one was still on. What do I do? Is this an Aurora problem or a D-light problem?  Please help.
