Sorry to continue this "stray topic" but we have released firmware to our beta testers that corrects this issue. Stay tuned... |

I've had channels stay on if I stop a show in the middle on an ON command, the OFF just never gets to the boards.

Boy, you sure know how to find the strangest topics to post a reply to.
This is more a D-Light hardware question, but generally speaking, if lights are on after you sent an off command one of several things could be the reason. 1) The triac failed in the on position. There is no fix for this other than to solder on a new one, but it happens infrequently. Unless your controller smells like burning copper and there is a big black spot on it, you don't need to worry about this. 2) LED's. If you are using them and your board is running pre v1.16 firmware (i.e. v1.14), they can glow even when the board is off. If you haven't upgraded your boards, I'd do that first. 3) Check your Min / Max values in the HW Utility. It may have been set accidentally to something other than 0% and 100%. |

1. Will my pre-order purchase include upgrades in the future? Your pre-order will include all version 1.x (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.) updates. Version 2.0, 3.0, etc. will be available at upgrade pricing (less than full price).
2. What hardware does it support?
Anything that uses the LOR1 protocol at this time. Future plans (1.1 or 1.2) exist to add DMX support. Other hardware/protocols are being considered but have not been committed to at this time.
3. What are the system requirements?
Extensive hardware testing has not yet been done (nor is the product completed), but early tests agree with the design criteria: The scheduler will run well on a P3/733 MHz using only 32MB RAM for a typical sequence. The sequencer uses more resources due to its graphical nature but should run well on most computers made in the past few years. Aurora is known to be compatible with XP, XP 64 bit, Vista, and 2003. Some customers have reported success runing on a Mac under Parallels.
