i think i figured out my error problems by the other post on the forum. the mp3 files don't seem to be working correctly. so i converted them to .wav and i am working fine now! Another question.... is there a way to adding timing while listening to the audio? i have pressed every key on my keyboard and mouse and nothing will seem to do it????

Aurora can add timing marks if you want them to all be the same duration. It doesn't add timing marks based on the waveform. Let's say you wanted 16 equal divisions between two points. First, manually create (use the "V" Event Marker) by left clicking to mark the begin and end points. Then change the cursor to the "Y" Selection. Right click anywhere between the begin and end, left click on "Split Cells" Make your choice. You can split a 10 second chunk or you can split the complete sequence (no manual begin or end point). It will take a lot of computer time to do a whole sequence from end to end if you were to add 1/10 of a second markings (100msec). Edited by JonB256 - 07 Nov 2008 at 9:17pm |
