First set of troubleshooting questions:
1) Is this with Aurora, Borealis, or both?
2) What OS are you using?
3) Are you using MSDXM or DirectShow under Settings/Playback Preferences?
4) Does the "popping" appear on a set of computer speakers, or does it only happen with the FM transmitter?

What type of transmitter are you using? Where does it get it's power from? If it is on the same circuit as your show PC it may be a harmonics issue, try moving it to a different circuit. Tony

Try closing any extraneous applications. Pops usually happen when the system doesn't have enough RAM and is swapping data to/from the hard drive.

When Aurora play the song it has a "poping" sound. When the same song (MP3 or WAV) is played via Windows Media player, its crystal clear. Any suggestions?/
