Hi, can someone help me with the scheduler?
If i select the date 01/12/2013 ie the 1st December 2013, the scheduler puts it in jan 12 2013??? if i select 30/11/2013 ie 30th November 2013 scheduler sticks it in march 12th 2013... clearly i am missing something?? any help appreciated |

Yep, you got it. Borealis only recognizes the MM/DD/YYYY format.

Just to be clear, this issue is related to Scheduler 1.X, correct?
If so, try deleting Borealis.dat. It will regenerate itself the next time the program is opened. That will often (but not always) clear persistent errors.

thanks Jonathan, I deleted the Borealis.dat and it crashed again, , yes this is the 1.x at the moment.
I uninstalled Aurora and rebooted, then reinstalled, then rebooted. If i run the scheduler without the USB device connected it runs ok, but when i run with the USB connected it crashes..... any thoughts? |

It is possible that the uninstall process did not remove everything.
For reference, whenever you upgrade / downgrade, the proper procedure to follow is this:
1. Make sure that you have the Aurora 1.X installer package before proceeding. As the Aurora 1.X line has been replaced with Aurora 2.0 (Beta as of this wiriting) it is no longer avilable on the Downloads page. 2. Uninstall Aurora 1.X from Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel
3. Reboot (even if you aren't asked to). Do not skip this step. 4. Re-Install Aurora 1.X 5. Reboot (even if you aren't asked to). Do not skip this step. If do you skip any steps then it is possible that portions of the original program might still be hanging around and could cause unpredictable issues. If this does not resolve the issue, check to see if any Windows updates were installed since the last time the program was functioning properly. Windows updates have been known to cause issues in the past. The fact that the program works until the dongle is connected points to this being a hardware issue, but I'm not yet willing to rule out that this could be software related just yet.
To that end, check to see if you are running the latest FTDI drivers.
Lastly, it is still possible that a .dat file needs to be regenerated. Borealis.dat is the main one for Scheduler, but there are a few others as well that you can go looking for (like audiocache.dat). Note that deleting .dat files results in having to set up your shows and reassociate audio again.
