Pause button

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version

   Is there a way to pause in the middle of a sequence?  Stop takes me back to the start, but I'd like to pause and stop the screen where it's at.

	This is one area where Aurora departs from the "norm". There is no pause. Closest thing to it is to highlight the area of the sequence and playback. Takes some getting used to, but you'll eventually stop missing the pause function. To highlight an area, simply move the cursor to the waveform area and left-click/drag along the timeline. Playback can also be triggered via the spacebar.

	Pause will probably find its way into a future version. It hasn't been at the top of the features list for a couple reasons: 1) As mentioned, there are other ways to achieve a similar result 2) If pause were added today it would only be a placeholder. Upcoming plans would result in the functionality being completely rewritten. For faster development it is best to leave it out for now.
