There are still a few issues that keep us from calling this "1.1", so consider this a "1.1 preview release". This release should address quite a few frustrations out there while we get a few remaining details under the hood sorted out. This upgrade is recommended for everyone. Note: Files saved in Aurora 1.0.25 are not openable in previous versions (there were some file format changes).

Installed and opened/closed a few sequences. Now, Aurora will not open. When it tries to open it gets to the main window and throws a "Run-time error '76': Path not found." It seems like I have seen this error mention elsewhere in this forum, but I don't remember the fix. Anyone?

Try deleting the config.dat file in the Aurora Sequencer directory.

That worked :) I had an idea it might be in there.... I opened it with notepad, but it was hard to decipher most of it. Thanks

I'll put that on the new bug list... there was a path specified somewhere in your config.dat that wasn't available to Aurora. This usually comes up when Aurora last saved to a thumb drive or network drive that isn't available when Aurora starts up and attempts to browse the last known directory.
You will need to reconfigure your "Serial Network Configuration" after deleting config.dat.

You might BOLD FACE the line about file compatibility a little more. That may be critical to some folks. Otherwise, all I could say was "Holy Crap!" as I read the list of additions and fixes. Edited by JonB256 - 07 Nov 2008 at 3:08pm |
