Okay, I am at my wits end and can't figure out something. I downloaded some sequences, dledted some channels so it would fit my setup and changed the names so far. everythign good to this point.
The problem I have is that I go to the bulk editor and change the IDS and channels as needed to match my show setup and when I save it, it actually seems to delete a channel on me and shift all the others below it up. I can't manage to figure out why it delete anything. I am just changing the numbers. Can anybody help with this? |

Well, an update on this, I can't figure it out, must be a weird bug.
If I go back to the same setup and bulk config some channels, then return for the rest after saving, it works fine. If I do them all at once it seems to pick one channel and wipe it out, shifting the others up one. Go figure? Anyway, I am jst doing it in three steps instead of one to get it done. |

A fix for this is coming soon. In the meantime, use the bulk updater to convert all of your devices to unused device IDs (probably up in the higher end e.g. A0 - DF) then save the changes. After that you can use the bulk updater to put everything back where you want it in the lower IDs.
The bug is that the updates are being performed in the wrong order due to a sort error so some of the updates are being blocked by an already existing channel. The above procedure is a tested workaround for use until we fix this. Edited by LightsOnLogan - 22 Oct 2008 at 8:56pm |
