can't add shows in calender

I am trying to add shows into the calender but the whole month of December is grey and I can't add any shows. Earlier in the year is white and will work. Any Ideas??

Make sure the date on your computer is set to MM/DD/YYYY format.  Those in countries with the DD/MM/YYYY format will experience strange issues. 

It actually doesn't matter what day you click on, the Schedule Item dialog box will open up and it will default to the 1st of the month.  You then choose your dates manually.  You can also get there by going to File, New Schedule Item.
