Has anyone had trouble when running the scheduler and thats the only thing that your pc will run?  When i press the start button to begin the show my screen turns black, and the show will run just fine.  Then the only way to shut off the scheduler is to press ctrl, alt, delete.
I never had this problem last year but i was using the 1.0 ver and this year im using the latest update which i think is 1.0.69.

Its a hiccup with the video preview interface. Just do a double Right Click and everything will pop back in.This only happens with the Independence day quickj-fix versions where the video option wasn't working properly. Later releases will resolve this problem.

Speaking of later releases.... It's October 8th already.  Less than 50 days til most folks' lights come on.  Any idea?  Last year there was a rash of problems and work arounds because we didn't have time to test or run the shows before Thanksgiving.  Just curious.

We're still working on the AI for ambiguous beat detection and auto-event placement.LOL

Seriously, though - have no idea.

I just asked the same seri8es of questions in my post 'Topic: Hello out there .. It's October 7th 2009 and ....' that I updated yesterday. I feel your pain. The timeline grows shorter and shorter. I have expanded my show and sequencing in Aurora as it exist today is NOT an easy or pleasureful thing. The sad thing is that compared to last year the status feedback from Michael has dropped to essentially 0 (Zero). It's better to know that  the problems are major and schedules may not be met than to wait until the last minute and say 'Sorry I just couldn't get it done'. After all this is the beta tester group, anybody here should be told that things aren't going well, most people would understand.

My hope is that he just hasn't come up for air long enough to read the board or respond and not badly sick or incapacitated.

Tom

Holding breath for DMX.
