On my laptop (Gateway P4 1G Ram), I can edit any sequence that I've already made, I just can't start a new sequence.
I give it a title, and select an MP3 audio file from Aurora's directory. All of the misc. messages go by... Then nothing. No vis. No play. Can't save. Nothing. Need to reboot to regain any editing function.
Any ideas?

Try using a WAV file instead. I had a lot of issues with MP3's, and using a WAV format fixed it.

The thing about MP3 files, especially the ones you didn't create yourself, is that they can be made by people using really odd compressor software using tricks to make them smaller. Variable bit rates and MP3 Pro codecs will cause problems. Your basic WAV file (44.1khz, 16bit PCM) just never seems to fail. Audacity will convert virtually any MP3 into a nice WAV file. |

But I can edit the file made with the exact audio files perfectly fine.
Last night I RDPed to my desktop, created the initial sequence, saved it, then transfered it to the laptop and am able to do anything I'd like to it.
With waves, would i get rid of each machine having a slightly different start offset?
