I made this mistake, does the controller ID# match the ID# that is assigned to the controller in Aurora. Check under bulk editor If the unit ID is set at 2 then when you check the bulk editor the ID should match Hope this helps If you have the HW utility open can you turn the lights on ?? ------------- http://www.d-light.us">

Forgive the basic descriptions if you already know this information. Use your hardware utility program to determine which device number your controller is on. This is done through the Discover tab on D-lights hardware utility (I'm sure LOR has something similar if your using LOR controllers) Open HWU, Connect to the controller, the flashing red lights will go solid, and open the discover tab and click Discover. It will come up with a number on the left side. The default is 2 if you have never changed it. Once you know that number, you have to change the device number on your channels in aurora to match that number. The device number for your channels must match the device number set in the controller. This is how you can use multiple controllers. You change the controller Device number to match your Aurora device number. I have 4 controllers numbered 1-4. That way each group of 16 channels has a different address. controller type is configured in settings light does go solid i believe i dont have each channel matched with controller ill try that and see what happens thanks for help john ------------- jtcfrank7 |

ok. lets make sure you have everything set right. 1. Under setting---serial network configuration---you clicked ADD Network. In that window you chose network 1 and the correct Com port and then clicked add. You should see the network listed.....Network 1, comport #, Data Rate 56000? 2. All your channels are configured to the SAME device number as your controller? 3. You have lights commands on your sequence? 4. You pressed the light bulb? 5. You hit play and the light on the controller went solid right before the music started? 6. Music played? |

try creating a new sequence and load a entire controller....throw in a few event marks and some on commands and try it out.

if something isn't set up right.....visualizer will still work...you dont have to have a controller linked to the computer for Visualizer to work.

command.....(intensity, ramp, shimmer, twinkle, etc.) on your sequence, your going to set event markers using the clock with the arrow button...(or press V) go under your wave form and somewhere left click....that will leave a vertical line. then move to the right and add another. Then click the I button and click a space next to your channels you have made. This should leave a solid mark. YES......Make sure you are not connected.....it will not work if HWU is linked to the controller

If you attempt to run Aurora at the same time the HWU is running Aurora will not be able to use the port (because it is already in use by the HWU). If you attempt both at once, there is also a chance that Aurora will also lose access to the port until after a reboot. ------------- http://www.aurorashow.com/">
